” Not to be confused with the group of the same name from the UK. These guys were way ahead of their time, playing a blend of instrumental, violin fronted post-rock which invokes feelings of sparsity and space. Think of the more accessible Dirty Three tunes or Grails’ Burden of Hope. From Melbourne, these guys unfortunately disbanded in 2001 after having self-released an EP and having both albums produced by Steve Shelley (Sonic Youth).
John Brooks (guitar) released an album under the monika J.P. Shilo called As Happy As Sad Is Blue in 2006 , and is currently working on a follow up, writes music for film and plays with Adalita, The Black Eyed Susans and heaps of other artists.”

The line up included:
Tim Howden Violin
John Brooks Accordion/ vibraphone
Jason Boneham Guitar
